Quick answers
Frequently asked questions
How do I open or hide Cork?
Press Command-Option-B, or choose Show Cork from the Cork menu bar icon. Press the shortcut again while Cork is frontmost to hide the board.
How do I bring Cork in front of another app?
Use the global shortcut or choose Show Cork from the menu bar. If the board is already visible behind another window, that command brings it to the front.
Can I change the keyboard shortcut?
Yes. Open Settings from the board title bar or Cork menu bar menu, then choose a new Keyboard Shortcut. You can reset it to Command-Option-B at any time.
Where is my board data stored?
Cork saves boards and settings locally in its macOS application container. Cork does not require an account and does not upload board content to a Cork server.
Why can Cork no longer open an imported image or file?
Cork keeps a protected reference to the item you selected. If the original was moved, renamed, deleted, or is on a disconnected drive, replace the image or add the file again from its new location.
How do I make Cork open when I sign in?
Open Cork Settings and turn on Launch at Login. macOS may ask you to approve Cork under System Settings > General > Login Items & Extensions.
How do I switch boards quickly?
Use the board switcher in Cork's title bar. While Cork is active, Control-Tab selects the next board and Control-Shift-Tab selects the previous board.
Does Cork collect analytics or personal data?
No. Cork has no tracking, advertising, analytics, account system, or cloud backend. Read the privacy policy for the full details.
